Third Period: Julius Caesar Discussion Thread

Class today will consist primarily of two approximately thirty minute long seminars.  When not directly engaged in the seminar - when seated in the outer ring - you will be posting comments (at least two) in the discussion thread found below.  And what types of comments should you make?

  • Your comments should be  reactions to specific things that are said during the seminar, and should on the whole be positive - perhaps some one says something that adds a perspective that you hadn't considered previously, or maybe they use a piece of evidence in a way you find impressive.
  • Your comment could simply be a question that comes to mind as you listen to your peers discuss.
  • You could respond to a question that one of your peers poses.
  • You could comment on someone else's comment (note: that's a feature of my website)

Overall, the point is to be thoughtful, mature, and to engage in an inclusive dialog.
